How our service works

The Oakhouse service is designed to support those living independently at home, and we've made it straightforward to use from start to finish.

1) Easy ordering

Customers can order in the way that suits them best: online, by post or by calling the team at their local branch. Our drivers will also take orders at the door when they deliver. We’ll be happy to answer any questions customers might have along the way, to help them get the right meals for their needs.

2) Finding the perfect meal 

We know that food tastes and dietary needs are very personal, so we've made it as easy as possible for our customers to navigate our huge range of dishes and choose the meals and desserts that fit the bill perfectly. We offer an easy to use online shop, dietary symbols, free from lists, full nutritional listings and a range of Easy Order Packs all designed to make choosing from our range simpler and more enjoyable.

3) Regular deliveries

We deliver to most areas once a week (in some areas we deliver fortnightly). And because we understand the importance of a friendly face, our customers will usually see the same driver each time we deliver. We'll take time to get to know each customer too, from our staff on the phones to our delivery drivers.

4) Simple ways to pay

Our customers can pay online securely (by debit or credit card or using PayPal), over the phone when they place their order, or by cash or cheque when their food is delivered. Delivery only costs £1, and is free on all orders of £30 or more.

5) Local support

Our friendly, local teams are always on hand to offer support whenever it's needed. Whether we're making recommendations about our food, putting deliveries away, helping with dietary requirements or supporting our customers using the website, we're happy to help in any way that we can.
