At Oakhouse we are proud of the care and support all our drivers offer on a daily basis, whether they are having a friendly chat with an isolated customer or helping out in more practical ways.
Complete peace of mind
We only recruit experienced drivers who know the local area well, and each one undergoes a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check before joining us. We also do our best to make sure our customers see the same driver every time we deliver so they become a familiar face. We get to know our customers as individuals and we'll do all we can to support each one - so you can rest assured they are in good hands.
A personalised approach
Our drivers understand that some of our customers may have specific health or mobility needs, and may need more support than others. From putting food away in the freezer, to taking the time to talk to the customer about how they are, they’re always happy to give a helping hand.
If our drivers notice a serious deterioration in a customer’s health, they will let us know so we can inform any registered contacts – whether that be a doctor, carer or relative – or call the emergency services, if needed.
